Dhagax Kurre

Located approximately 67 kilometers northeast of Hargeisa, near the Dabbis seasonal valley, Dhege Kurre is a remarkable rock formation long recognized by local nomadic communities. The site features a narrow cave entrance that opens into a sheltered interior space, capable of accommodating small groups. Inside, visitors can observe ancient inscriptions and faint murals painted in white, reflecting an early and still largely unexplored artistic tradition. The surrounding area also includes historic Muslim burial sites, adding cultural and spiritual significance to the location.
